Sustainability in Small Batches: Our Eco-Friendly Approach

Because beauty should never come at the planet’s expense.

At Wildly Inspired, we believe that creating beautiful things shouldn't hurt the beautiful world we live in. That’s why sustainability is at the heart of our handmade resin work - from the flowers we use to the way we package each order.

We may be small, but our impact matters, and we're proud to do things a little differently.

Here’s how we’re keeping it thoughtful, intentional, and planet-friendly.

1. Small-Batch, Slow-Made

We don’t mass-produce or operate on assembly lines. Every piece is made by hand, in small batches, and often made-to-order. That means:

• Less waste

• No overproduction

• More intention behind every design

This also allows us to give each item the time, attention, and care it deserves. When things are made slowly, they’re often made better—and we think the planet agrees.

Handmade = less impact + more meaning.

2. Ethically Sourced & Repurposed Botanicals

Most of our flowers are locally foraged, homegrown, or repurposed from events like weddings and markets. We never use endangered or chemically treated blooms, and we make sure to dry and press each one in a way that respects its natural shape and colour.

Whenever possible, we use what would otherwise be discarded, giving new life to what was once fleeting.

3. Eco-Friendly Packaging

We use minimal and recyclable packaging to reduce unnecessary waste. That includes:

• Kraft paper wraps or recyclable cardboard boxes

• Biodegradable tape and minimal ink usage

We also encourage reusing our packaging for storage, gifting, or crafting!

4. Responsible Resin Use

While resin itself isn’t biodegradable, we do everything we can to minimize excess use and waste:

• We mix only what’s needed per project

• Use silicone molds that are reused hundreds of times

• Repurpose leftover resin for smaller items or test pieces

• Offer “imperfect” pieces at a discount rather than throwing them away

We’re also actively exploring bio-resin alternatives as they become more available and reliable.

5. Intentional, Not Trendy

We’re not here to chase trends or create things that will be discarded in a season. Our goal is to make timeless, lasting pieces that hold meaning for years, not months.

Whether it’s a memorial keepsake, a tray made with your favourite flower, or a custom gift with real emotional value, our resin art is meant to last, and not end up in a landfill.
