Whether you’re brand new to resin or you’ve already fallen in love with the art, we get lots of great questions from curious (and cautious!) customers. And we get it - when you’re buying something handmade, you want to understand what it’s made of, how to care for it, and what makes it special.

Q: What exactly is resin?

Resin is a clear, durable material that starts as a liquid and hardens into a glass-like finish. We use a high-quality epoxy resin that’s specifically designed for art and craft purposes.

It’s known for its clarity, strength, and ability to preserve delicate materials, like flowers, gold flakes, or pigments.

Q: Are the flowers real?

Yes! Every flower we use is real, natural, and hand-pressed or dried by us (unless stated otherwise). That’s what makes each piece so unique. We either grow, ethically forage, or re-purpose blooms from events or flower markets.

Q: Will resin last forever?

With proper care, yes, resin is extremely durable and can last for decades. However, it’s important to:

• Keep it out of direct sunlight

• Avoid exposure to high heat or flames

• Clean gently with soft cloths and avoid harsh chemicals

Following those tips will keep your piece looking fresh and glossy for years to come.

Q: Is resin heat-proof?

Resin is heat-resistant, but not entirely heat-proof. That means:

• It can handle warm cups or light use (e.g., coasters)

• It should not be used with hot pans, candles, or anything that generates high heat

Q: Will it yellow over time?

• Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe it down

• Avoid alcohol, acetone, or strong chemicals

• Do not scrub with abrasive materials
